I’m a writer, editor, and librarian in San Francisco. I received my Masters in Library Science after graduating from Oberlin College with a BA in creative writing. I was a young adult librarian at a public library for seven years, where I also taught writing to high school students. Now, I focus primarily on writing and editing, though I am periodically available for speaking events and private writing coaching and assistance.
My work appears in Longreads, The Daily Beast, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, Shondaland, The Outline, Vice Rewire, The Establishment, LitHub, Quartz, Paste, Good, and Cosmopolitan, among other publications.
