I’m a writer, editor, and librarian in Seattle. I received my Master’s in Library Science after graduating from Oberlin College with a BA in creative writing. I was a young adult librarian at a public library for seven years, where I also taught writing to high school students. Now, I focus primarily on writing and editing, though I am periodically available for speaking events and private writing coaching and assistance.
My work appears in Longreads, The Daily Beast, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, Shondaland, The Outline, Vice Rewire, The Establishment, LitHub, Quartz, Paste, Good, and Cosmopolitan, among other publications.
I’m a Co-founder and the Associate Editor of Anxy Magazine and a Book Riot contributor.
