I’m a writer, editor, and librarian in San Francisco. I got my Master’s in Library Science after graduating from Oberlin College with a BA in creative writing. I was a young adult librarian at a public library for nearly seven years, where I also taught writing to high school students. Now, I focus primarily on writing and editing, though I am periodically available for speaking events and private writing instruction/assistance.
My work appears in Longreads, The Daily Beast, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, Shondaland, The Outline, Vice Rewire, The Establishment, LitHub, Quartz, Paste, Good, and Cosmopolitan, among other publications.
